CENTURY SUMMIT V

Welcome to Century Summit V!

The United States has been described as the most age-segregated society ever and ageism in the US imposes a considerable burden on individuals and communities alike. Ageism shortens people’s lives, undermines business effectiveness, and costs our health system an estimated $63 billion a year. And while ageism principally impacts older people, it also has impact on the prospects and hopes of younger generations. At Century Summit V, we will focus on the challenges of ageism and the opportunities to create a positive intergenerational society. Bringing together leaders from different fields and different generations, we will discuss a new vision for a less ageist society and one that brings the generations together.
